1. Purpose of This Document
This Supplementary Product Disclosure Statement (SPDS) is issued by Macro Global Markets Pty Ltd (Macro GM) and must be read alongside the Interactive Brokers Australia Pty Ltd (IBKR) Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
It provides important information specific to the services and fees you may incur when accessing IBKR’s platform through Macro GM.
2. About Macro Global Markets
Macro GM is an authorised financial services provider (AFSL 363972) facilitating access to global markets through Interactive Brokers.
We specialise in helping Australian investors gain access to international equities and derivatives platforms via IBKR. While we support client onboarding and education, we do not issue financial products or provide personal financial advice.
3. What We Do
Macro GM offers:
- Platform access via IBKR under our licensed entity
- General guidance and platform onboarding support
- Market insights and education (general advice only)
- Ongoing support for administrative queries
We do not:
- Handle your funds or financial products
- Place trades on your behalf
- Provide personal investment advice
- Operate custodial or portfolio services
4. Fees and How We’re Paid
Macro GM does not charge upfront or ongoing client fees. Instead, we are remunerated through a markup on brokerage commissions charged via the IBKR platform.

5. Conflicts of Interest
Macro GM has a commercial arrangement with Interactive Brokers, through which we receive trading-related commissions.
This arrangement may create an incentive to promote trading activity. However, we take our obligations seriously and only provide factual information and general advice, never personal recommendations.
We are committed to acting in accordance with the best interests of our clients and maintaining transparency in all interactions.

7. Insurance Cover
Macro GM holds professional indemnity insurance in accordance with section 912B of the Corporations Act 2001. This covers the conduct of our representatives (past and present) in providing financial services.
8. Important Information
This SPDS supplements the IBKR PDS and should be read in conjunction with it. If there is any inconsistency between the two, the information in this SPDS overrides to the extent of the inconsistency.
